[ it's my birthday ] personal. ri.

i love birthdays. no matter what age i hope i will always love birthdays. it is your holiday. the one and only true day to celebrate you. i see them as a time of reflection of how far you have come.

so in turning 39, my last year of my 30's [how did that happen so fast], i have found myself struggling. struggling to find my footing. my confidence. but i woke this morning optimistic, energized for what this year has in store. i want to face my fears + push myself out of my comfort zone. challenge myself to be better, as a photographer, person, wife + friend. this year i plan to focus on the little things, shoot more just for me, + laugh as much as possible. i am looking forward to sharing this journey.

happy mom+dad-iversary to my wonderful parents too!
