first up is the lovely McTear family that met me over at Roger Williams Park for a lovely fall portrait session + they brought their new puppy!!! YAY! here are just a few frames of this adorable family…more to come soonish

second up we head to Scotland for Ana + Barrett’s Outlander-inspired engagement session…well, maybe not actually Scotland or Outlander-inspired but Sachuest Point in Newport RI did a pretty good job as a runner up. with beautiful water vistas + lush weather-worn fields we had a lot of fun freezing our butts off. Seriously though, these two were troopers standing out there in the cold + the wind + making it all look so effortlessly comfortable. Cannot wait for their wedding in June 2022 but for now just a few frames…

we had some gorgeous weather this weekend + I had a blast walking around the city of providence with Kelsey + Bryce for their city engagement session. This is my first ever couple to be recommended from the local Warren RI bar, Jack’s! [thank you Joanie ;)] I am so excited for their fall 2022 New Bedford Wedding. For now just a few of my favorite frames…

the lovely Peters’ Family hung out with me on Sunday at the beautiful Colt State Park in Bristol RI where I got to officially meet Scarlett + see Vivian in action as a big sister. Here are just a few favs before I head back into the editing cave…

[ guess what...a few frames ] wedding. bristol. ri. portrait. barrington. ri.

you guessed it, another post of just a few frames…phew! I am getting exhausted by all this repetition….but I promise there is an end in sight…somewhere. I will do a complete post at some point by the end of the year, maybe.

Tully + Pat decided to choose the rainiest of New England days to get married + not for one second did it damper any spirits. fortunately, they also chose a beautiful venue, linden place which was the perfect backdrop for rainy day portraits + a raging reception. I love the progression of the following images; it is basically a good representation of how the day started all the way to how it ended.

enjoy this little tease from their wedding day.

not sure I have ever mentioned how much I love when a family comes back to me for over a decade to document the special times in their lives as well as their growing children…well, I LOVE IT!!! the Boyd family + I go way back to a chilly July day in San Francisco where they eloped + I [with my business partner at the time-Lisa Lefringhouse] photographed it. It was such a joy to see them again + play on this fabulous fall day at Barrington beach

I am happy + sad to inform you that I will not be taking on any more sessions this year. I am filled to the brim with editing + no longer have the mental bandwidth to add any more to the list. I will be booking sessions again come the fall of 2022. look forward to connecting with you then!!
