i first met this family in 2012 when they participated in a mini session fundraiser lisa frechette photography + i put together to benefit the people affected by hurricane sandy in coastal nj. the girls were [i think] 2 + just a couple months. fast forward 7 years + multiple rhode island family portrait sessions later + you find us at south shore beach in little compton, ri. it is such an honor to be able to document this family + to continuously be chosen to be their family photographer. for a little flashback make sure you scroll to the end of the post ;)

to be honest, these yearend reviews are more for me than for you. it is a way to look back on the year to see where i have grown, how i have stretched myself creatively + what i need to focus on in the coming year. a reminder to be grateful seeing families evolve + grow as well as to be open to new opportunities. it keeps me in check. 2018 brought me family portraits, baby portraits, pet portraits, engagement sessions + personal projects. it brought me travel photography projects to distances such as california, greece, + israel. looking back it has also made me want more. more diversity in projects as well as subject matter. more travel. more pet portraits. more photography
