[ megan + jonathan ] wedding. shelter harbor inn. westerly. ri.

what an absolutely beautiful June day we had for this intimate wedding at shelter harbor inn in westerly ri. well, beautiful but also blazing hot. we headed out to the beach at high noon with the blaring sun but who cares because the way these two looked at each other…eh gads I would sweat + go blind all over again to document it. Megan just oozes this confidence, beauty, grace, + style. hello, do you see her mix-matched earrings, those shoes, + clutch…HELL YES!! + don’t even get me started on Jonathan + his easy-going sweet demeanor. Their vows! The honey walnut feeding ceremony!! Megan’s dad performing the ceremony!!! HELL YES!!!! Having 3 Gregg’s cakes… makes me want to swear I love it so much! Oh wait, I guess I already did. You get the point + I know y’all are here for the images + not for my writing eloquence [no AI for this post obviously] so without further adieu here is their wedding story.

[ ana + barrett ] wedding. fort getty. jamestown. ri.

June is the perfect month for a Rhode Island wedding, as the weather starts to warm up, and nature displays its full beauty. I had the pleasure of capturing this stunning June wedding in Rhode Island at Fort Getty in Jamestown. The couple chose a picturesque waterfront venue, where the gentle breeze and the sound of nature provided a romantic backdrop. The bride looked radiant and the groom couldn't hide his excitement as he awaited his bride's arrival. Surrounded by their loved ones, the couple exchanged heartfelt vows under a sunflower-adorned arbor. From the joyful laughter during the outdoor cocktail hour to the heartfelt speeches during the reception, it was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. The golden hour provided a breathtaking backdrop for the couple's romantic portraits, as the sky was painted hues of dark blue with dramatic storm clouds. As the night drew to a close, the dance floor was filled with energy and celebration, creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. Overall, this June wedding in Rhode Island was a testament to the beauty of love and the magic that can happen when nature and romance intertwine. Here is their wedding story.

[ allison + brandon ] vow renewal. little compton. ri.

this is what it looks like when 4 separate wedding plans get sidetracked by a pandemic + a couple pivots by going the justice of peace route but still wants to bring the family together to celebrate their marriage + isn’t it just beautiful!! a year after the legal ceremony, Allison + Brandon gathered their close family in Little Compton RI + had an intimate vow renewal. In true New England fashion, we had a lot of weather to deal with, from wind to cold to light drizzles with the sun coming out just in time for the kiss. It was perfect + I feel so fortunate to have been asked to document it…here are just a few frames.
