[ carlow family ] portrait. west greenwich. ri.

if you follow me on Instagram you probably also know + follow Lisa on Instagram [um, + if you don’t you should]. she is usually my second photographer extraordinaire [as I am usually hers] + she got me started in this whole wedding photography biz. one of my favorite things about her is her laugh, it is something she does frequently + loudly! she always laughs at my jokes! she is just the best + I had the extreme pleasure of documenting her + her family yesterday. Here are just a few too many frames of her laughing that we made yesterday at the sand dunes in West Greenwich with her lovely family. [she also shows + shares with me the best locations for portraits- SHE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!]

this image is for when they start the family band

[ kelsey + bryce ] wedding. new bedford whaling museum. new bedford. ma.

words cannot describe how gah gah I am for these two! sweet, funny, wholesome, classically stunning + both put on quite the show at the reception to slim shady by Eminem!! I had so much fun with them at their New Bedford Whaling Museum celebration + cannot wait to share this wedding with y’all. Here are just a few teaser frames for now.

disclaimer: these last 2 images have been manipulated. this is not how the images came right out of the camera. that being said, did y’all see that harvest moon on Saturday??? I had some fun with the whaling museums’ binoculars to take a close-up image of the moon to superimpose it with a nighttime portrait of Kelsey + Bryce. don’t try this at home.

more to come if I ever get around to blogging full weddings again…

[ jo + kevin + co. ] engagement / family session. newport. ri.

Jo + Kevin are blending their families in November so what better way to document their engagement than by including their daughters! We had a beautiful evening last night in Newport RI with perfect sunny skies and a great beach breeze on 2nd beach. Here are just a few frames of their RI hybrid engagement/family session. Can’t wait to document them again in the fall!
